ABOUT THE ARTIST
Timothy Hsieh has been interested in arts from a young age. He graduated with a B.F.A. from Syracuse University before going into freight logistics. Ceramics has been a long held passion and after many years in an office has decided to pursue it fully. He's interested in colors, glazes and functional forms.
PHILOSOPHY
Tim enjoys making functional pottery. He believes each piece he makes contains a bit of himself and when people use it a connection is made. The piece is a reflection of the effort, time and love that Tim puts into it. Like a fingerprint each is unique in its imperfections and shape. Tim also constantly learns and experiments with glaze recipes and decorating techniques.
